Abstract:
     This invention discloses a new cleaning process of producting high quality sugar, and solves the problems of the long line of production, high energy consumption and high processing cost in the well-known two-step method which is used in it.The well-known process comprises the following steps: sugar-cane squeeze or beet lixiviation-elementary filtering-washing the filtered liquid-cooking sugar-separating honey-finished sugar. The cleaning process adds membrane filter, which comprises a membrane assembly, a container, a pump, a device for adding enzymes, a valve and a pipe. Filtering the washing liquid by membrane filter, and then evaporating pure washing liquid, partial washing liquid which don't pass the membrane will return to the container, and the entrapped concentrated liquid which contains many impurities will return to the elementary filter. The membrane in the membrane assembly is ceramic membrane, the aperture of it is 1 mum-0.02 mum. The liquid from the second and the third step is added enzymes by the device befor the membrane filter. The enzymes are amylase. The proportion between amylase to liquid as 0.05-20ppm. The temperature in the membrane filter is 25-100 degrees. In this way, the turbidity index is reduced largely, and the quality of liquid is increased substantially, so much more high quality sugar is produced. And it can improve membrane flux remarkably and availably, and prolong the cleaning frequency for membrane. It fits specially sugar production process for sugar-cane and beet.
