Abstract:
     This invention discloses a culture medium and a method to test Bacillus coli group with same culture medium. Each litre of the aqueous solution of such medium contains such aomponents as tryptone ( 10-20g ), lactose (5-10g ), sodium chloride (5g), lauryl sodium sulfate (0.4-1g ), dipotassium hydrogen phosphate (3.75-9.75g), potassium dihydrogen phosphate (0.5-1.3g ), magnesium sulfate (0.02-0.05g), iron chloride (0.0025-0.005) and cobalt chloride (0.01-0.02g ). It features sensitive reatction, high power to suppress other bacteria and accelerating the growth of target bacteria. The test method has the advantages of high accuracy, overall, saving material and time, and shorter test period (15-18 hours).
