Collagenase is a kind of hydrolysis protease of hydrolyzed natural collagenase under the physiology PH value and temperature conditions. By using improved medium, the fusiform tissure bacterium cl. histolyticum 64008 is turned into low poisonous collagenase through still fermentating in the fermentive liquid. After bacteriumless filtration, ammonium sulfate precipitation. Desalination and frozen dry, the fermentive liquid can be turned into unfinished products of collagenase and then into finished product by DEAE columnar layer precipitation, sephadex G-25 desalination and fiozen dry. This collagenase is a important tool enzyme for cell separating. Its ointment can be used for scab and its injection for vertebral discus protruding.
