Abstract:
     The main features of this invention consist is a sedimention pool, a pool for protease catalyzed degradation and a contact oxidation equipment consisting of a homogenization pool and an oxidation tower. After the malt waste water, saccharification waste water and fermentation waste water from the brewery have been subjected to the mixing-sedimentation pracess, the combined waste water is degraded by the catalytic action of protease. The degraded waste water is mixed with bottle rinsings and treated by contact oxidation. By this process, the brewery waste water with a COD as high as 10000-30000 ppm can be treated, and the treated waste water has a COD lower than 100 ppm and a BOD lower than 60 ppm, meeting the state standard for drain water.
