Abstract:
     The invention related to a process for producing antibiotic 6270 which has 115-118 deg.C of the melting point; the results of elementary analysis are C: 62.72%, H: 9.4%, O: 27.78%; the color-reaction gives arise the positive results in vanillin-sulfuric acid reaction and Dragendorff reaction and negative results in triketohydridene reaction and with the a color of iodic gas. The process comprises culturing the antibiotic 6270-producing microorganism belong to Nocardiopsis, and recovering the said antiobic from culture medium.
