Abstract:
     This is a method for preparing sodium isoastorbate (1) using glucose mother liquor as raw material, in which, calcium 2-keto-gluconate (2) is obtained through deep layer fermentation of the raw material with pseudmonas fluorescense AS-5, and then treated with industrial nitric acid and sodium hydroxide respectively in methonol, so as to methyl-esterify and convert (2) into (1). The quality of the product meets the F.C.C. standards of U.S.A. The method is superior in simplicity, high yield, low production cost and using low-priced raw materials.
