Abstract:
     This invention is characterized by the application of microbic fermention method to the preparation of natural erythropigment to be used as additive for food. The original fungii is subjected to induction and mutation many times to become aspergillus erythraeus M 130. Erythropigment is prepared by fermentation using this fungii. Pigment valence of the fermention liquid is 160 U/ML on the average and reaches 287 U/ML at most. Powder of erythropigment protein is obtained by precipitation using protein-isoelectric point method. Polysaccharide tablets of erythropigment are prepared by adding polysaccharide. The erythropigment so prepared is of higher light-resistance and higher heat-resistance. It will not change its colour under a long exposure to sunshine.
