Abstract:
     Under optimum culture conditions, with properly regulated metabolism and appeopeiate carbon and nitrogen ratio. Arthrobacter gives high yield of alginate sacharide esters. The latter can also be obtd. simply and cheaply from diapanse cells of arthrobacter. The prods. are mainly tetra ester of alginate sacharide. It can be used in the process of ternary recovery in oil mining, for eleminating oil pollution, for making consumers, and used also in textile and foodstuff industries.
