Abstract:
     The invention provides a new antibiotic, aureonuclemycin, and its preparation. The antibiotic has strong growth-inhibiting effect against plant bacterial disease caused by xanthomonas. The present invention also provides a high efficient, hypotoxic, low-residual agricultural bactericide, which is especially effective in controlling bacterial leaf-blight of rice. The antibiotic may be made from the culture of streptomyces aureus, a suzhou's variety SP-371.
