Abstract: |
|||
| The process of producing acetone and butanol is as follows: Acetone-butanol fusiform brood-cell bacilli are cultured and sieved in corn mash with a concentration of 5% to obtain culture liquid with logarithmically growing period. Then the culture liquid is absorbed by ceramic rings to obtain fixed cells, which are used to ferment corn starch so as to produce acetone and butanol. The fixed cells of the present invention have high activity, long half-life, reliability and regenerating ability. The production may be progressed continuously in a reactor. | |||
