Abstract:
     The present invention is related to a production method of long chain alpha.omega-dicarboxylic acid by use of microbe to ferment normal paraffin hydrocarbon, especially is related to a high-production method of hexadecadicarboxylic acid. The inoculating mother liquor cultured by use of a strain of Candida tropicalis UH-3-9 is inoculated into a mixed solution, whose pH value is 5.5-9.0, of 5-40% (v/v) normal paraffin hydrocarbon containing 10-18 carbon atoms and 95-60% (v/v) fermentable culture medium, and then the above-mentioned mixture is kept for 48-144 hours at 24-34 deg.C, and after that, the obtrained alpha.omega-dicarboxylic acid is separated and purified.
