Abstract:
     This invention refers to the fermentation of polysaccharide gum by microorganism and its extraction method. It relates to the field of industrial microorganism utilization. The prior production process extracts xanthocyte gum from fermented products by organic solvent or by precipitation of organic compound or by direct drying. The above-mentioned process has complicated extraction technology, high energy consumption, more equipments and high production cost. This invention select a kind of xanthomonad for the fermentation of the culture medium, and acid is added into the fermented liquid to coagulate and settle the gum, so that xanthocyte gum is extracted. This process possesses simple extraction technology, low energy consumption, less equipments and low production cost.
