Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a heating and cooling equipment, including a basic structure made of insulating ceramics. This structure has a surface or hole or recess or channel for supporting sample to be heated or cooled and a resistance heating element embeded in the structure. Said basic structure can be made of metal or carbon, and at this time the heating element must be packaged in insulating material and insulated from the basic structure. The whole body of said basic structure can also include any kind of conducting ceramics, metal and carbon to form a heating device by oneself. Said equipment also has a cooling device. Because the area contacted with sample is more large, the heat can be effectively transfered to the sample, so that it can accurately heat and cool according to a preset temp. program, and can keep the uniform temp. distribution in the sample.
