Abstract:
     The equipment incorporates an air discharge chamber formed by a combined electrode system of silent plus corona discharges, which provide positive and negative ozone ions, and the electrode system of silent discharge is of a turbulent type and inhomogeneous electric field structure. The discharge tube is a circular insulating one, coated with metal outside and used as an external electrode, while a metal gauze in the tube is used as an internal electrode. Using this method and equipment to keep fruits and vegetables fresh will result in a long fresh keeping period, a small nutrient consumption, a pure flavour, none of residual poisons, none of environment pollution, and a low energy consumption.
