| The titled taro (a kind of tuber crop) has a higher starch content. To develop its prodn. is a good idea for establishing the source of raw material for wine-making. This invention is referred to a method that fresh taro is cut into thin vermicelli for smashing, then thick liq. is obtd. and continuous fermentation is carried on after the processes of cooking, saccharifying and cooling, etc., while germfree air is passed into the undecanted fermentative liquor, then well fermented liquor is continuously distilled, and alcohol is obtd. as the end prod. The conventional guilt covering fermentation process is improved by this invention and the problem of pumping pipeline for feed-in being pluged due to long fiber of taro is solved. | |||
