| This invention relates to a pretreatment method for seed yeast in brewing industry. It includes the following procedures: first, seperate out the miscellaneous fungi in the seed yeast obtained through ordinary expansive culture treatment, and then place the miscellaneous fungi removed seed yeast in to a liquid nutrient medium for culture until the spores of the seed yeast sprout. The liquid nutrient medium may use a water soluble solution of 1.2% flour. The sprouting rate of the spores is generally more than 20%, up to 50% in the better case. Through the adoption of the invented method, the miscellaneous fungi in seed yeast can be reduced by more than 99%, hence to promote the required growth competating ability of the yeast against the miscellaneous fungi and the activity to form into yeast enzyme. Also due to the fact that the sprouting and formation of yeast can proceed simultaneously, the production cycle is shortened and the yield and quality of the product are raised. | |||
