Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a process for production of beer and beer yeast powder from residue containing beer yeast discharged from brewery, which comprises filtering the residue, washing, screening, removing picric acid, re-filtering, heating to auto-disolve and spray-drying. The beer yeast powder thus obtained contains 53-61% crude protein. The advantages of said invention are: yeast containing residue being fully utilized, enviromental pollution being eliminated, the technology and installations being simplified.
