Abstract:
     The cleaning agent comprises in its composition an adsorbant (bentonite), a fatty acid salt (potassium laurate, magnesium stearate or zinc stearate), a polyhydric alcohol (glycerine or ethylene glycol) and water. The bentonite is selected as the candidate adsorbant because it is readily available, inexpensive and has good cleaning ability without pre-cleaning or after-cleaning operations. The said cleaning agent can be used for cleaning the glasses, TV screens, lens, glass fibre-reinforced articles, precision optical instruments and electro-plated articles.
