Abstract:
     This process and the catalyst are used for manufacturing toilet soap espacially for high quality toilet soap. The catalyst consists of copper sulfate, nickel sulfate and diatomaceous earth, wherein the ratio of copper to nickel is 3:1 and diatomaceous earth weighs tiwce as total metals. The pocess is carried out under sealing pressure condition, and the adequate pressure is below 5 atm. The hydrogenated oil obtained according to the invention can be used to substitute for grease and sheep oil for manufacturing good toilet soap. This process has obvious advantages since it's simple, short in reaction time, low costs, etc.
