Abstract:
     The raw product of mono fatty acid glyceride is dissolved in saturated lower alcohol and the solution is then cooled to educe out solid. After filtering, the filtrate is cooled to educe out mono fatty acid glyceride. The solid is filtered out and dried and the filtrate is recovered for reuse in dissolving process. The mono glyceride product whose concentration is more than 90% may be obtained with a yield of over 90%.
