Abstract:
    Process for the production of safety candles which consist of wax with a safety base which extinguishes the candles before they have burnt down, wherein the safety base is produced at least partly of a wax mixture which consists of up to 33% of metal salts (magnesium, calcium, aluminium) of stearic acids, and up to 15% of synthetic polymer, and a certain mixture ratio of paraffin or a paraffin/stearic acid mixture.
