Abstract:
     The catalyst of this invention is an egg albumin-palladium complex supported on active carbon or egg-shell powder and can be used repeatly for more than 20 times in catalytic pydrogenation of colza oil or other vegetable oil at 110-150deg.C and ordinary or low pressure (3-4kg/cm2). It is harmless and especially suitable to the selective catalytic hydrogenation of colza oil and other vegetable oil, the weight ratio of the calalyst and oil being 4 to 100.
