Abstract:
     This invention provides a preparation process of chilli resin oil with high peppery property for industrial purpose. The peel powder of dry chilli is extracted by organic solvent. Then the extracted liquor is concentrated to a definite volume, and freezed at low temperature. After separation of fatty oil, residual solvent is removed by deduced pressure evaporation. Product thus obtained is extracted twice and after the removal of solvent by evaporation, chilli resin oil with high peppery property is produced with a yield of about 8%. In addition, chilli oil byproduct with low peppery property which can be used as food condiment or the raw material for preparing natural pigment is also obtained. Another byproduct is a mixture of carbohydrate and vegetable gum, which can also be used as the raw material of condiment.
