Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a kind of strongly fragrant rhododendron extract, pure oil, and the method of their extraction. The process consists of the following steps: extraction of strongly fragrant rhododendron leaves and its soft branches with petroleum ether, distillation of the extract, dewaxing by dissolution in enol solution, cooling and filtration. The obtained product retains the fragrance characteristic of the original plant. It is a new type of perfume for commodity chemical industry.
