Abstract:
    A purified extract of virgin bees-wax can be obtained by boiling the commercial bees-wax in water containing, if necessary, suitable amounts of borax and sodium chloride dissolved therein. The separation of a fair part of the unsaponifiable components is thus obtained with a weight loss of about one third compared with the weight of the treated wax. The obtained extract is particularly suitable to be used in cosmetic industry.
