Abstract:
     The extraction method of essence from torreya grandis shells belongs to a flavouring chemical technology and its obtained product is used as edible flavouring essence and extensively used in the food industry. Its extraction process is: the torreya grandis shells are broken and then immersed by the alcohol, so that the torreya grandis shell alcoholature is extracted and further the above-mentioned alcoholature is mixed with the subsidiary raw materials in a certain proportion, through stir, filtration, purification, thereby making the torreya grandis type essence. Since the price of its raw material is cheap, its process is simple, the flavour of the obtained product is unique and it is rich in the nutritive matters, therefore the essence produced with the said method can replace the current torreya grandis type essence and extensively use as food additive.
