Abstract:
     This invention deals with the technology and equipments for dry distillation of fibre crops. This process comprises two steps: dry distillation of the fibre crops in vacuo and vacuum fractionation of the distillate under residual pressurses ranging from 0.01 to 0.04 kg/cm2. The facilites consist of the following: the dry distilltion still operating under vacuum; the vacuum fractionating column; the condensers; the collectors; the buffer bottles containing H2SO4 and NaOH solutions, respectively, the vacuum pumps and the vacuum-meters. The distillate, obtained after dry distillation of fibre crops, being as orange-yellow, clear liquid of low viscosity, is free from harmful constituents, will not soil the clothes and can be used as an effective cure for neurodermatitis and chronic eczema without any side-effects.
