Abstract:
     The present invention publishes a method for separating short cotton fibres from cottenseed shells peeled down before oil extraction in a factory. After the cottonseed shells are powdered, roughly separated and rinsed, a certain quantity of chemicals is added into the short cotton fibres separated out and then they are steamed and boiled, then rinsed, bleached and dried, thus pure short cotton fibres are gained. These fibres have many uses, they are the raw materials for papermaking, spinning and weaving industries, chemical engineering and light industry, etc. The present invention opens up a new way for the comprehensive utilization of cottonseed shells.
