Abstract:
     A chord winder for stringed instrument capable of maintaining a stable performance for long period by minimizing the rotating error of a worm gear caused due to a backlash at the time of tuning of a chord, reducing the friction of each rotation part so as to prevent a seizure thereof, and remarkably reducing a working time required for the wiping-off of a flow lubricant, comprising a worm rotated by the rotation of a knob and a worm wheel meshed with the worm and having a chord mounting part provided continuously therewith, characterized in that a solid lubricating material layer is formed on the surface of at least one of the worm and worm wheel and the worm shaft of the worm.
