Abstract:
    A lubricant additive for use in internal combustion engines burning alcohol and alcohol-containing fuels comprises a major amount of an organic amine selected from aromatic primary or secondary amines, aliphatic primary or secondary amines, cycloaliphatic primary amines, and mixtures thereof, and a minor amount of a phosphoric or phosphonic acid ester. A preferred composition comprises about 68.75 wt. % to 75.0 wt. % of said amine, and about 25.0 to 31.25 wt. % of said ester. The lubricant composition includes ubrication for internal-combustion engines and the said lubricating oil additive. The present also provides a method of preparing the lubricant composition and the method to refrain corrosion and excessive wear of motor.
