Abstract:
     This invention provides a new technology for purifying naphthalene from coke-oven gas. In the technology, three processes of purifying naphthalene of gas, washing oil for naphthalene elimination, and regeneration and final cooling of gas are cancelled and merged into one, that is, light tar is sprayed to gas during cooling to make the naphthalene in gas be purified off during such a series of processes which are linked with each other as cooling (sublimation)-dissolving-sucking. It has following advantages: simple and compact technology, simple apparatus, no need of standby devices and less investment, so it is easy to popularize. The technology is especially suitable to complete the reforming of old factories without any influence on its production.
