Abstract:
     This absorbent is made up by vacuum-dipping the activated carbon carrier with middle specific surface and special porous structure in aqueous solution of copper chloride, heating it for dewater and then cooling it. The absorbent has a middle absorptivity of 0.4-1.6 millimole/g under CO balance, but it is easy to desorption at ordinary temp. The absorptivity under vacuum degree of 0.09 MPa is 0.4-0.7 millimole/g, or less than 0.2 millimole under hydrogen, nitrogen and methane balance. The absorptive index is greater than 2.4 for CO/CO2, or 5 for C2H4/CH4, or 5 for C2H6/CH4. The absorbed gas can be desorbed only by heating or depressurizing.
