Abstract:
The aqueous soltuion of alkaline salt containing ferrous or iron hydroxide is pressurized to remove CO2, inorganic sulfur and organic sulfur from converted gas. Its advantages are high stability of solution, less loss, full decarbonization and desulfurization, high purity of CO2 in regenerated gas and low corrosion of apparatus. The process can simplify the process flow of synthesizing ammonia, and is also suitable for decarbonization and desulfurization of other gases.
