Abstract: |
|||
| Activated carbon is used as desulfurizing agent. After saturated, the activated carbon is regenerated by overheat steam. A desulfurizing tower has upper and lower desulfurizing agent layers. Gas inlet is positioned between two desulfurizing agent layers and gas is discharged respectively from upper and lower outlets, so one tower plays the role of two towers. As a result, the tower diameter is smaller for same throughput, benefiting the desulfurizing and regeneration of activated carbon. The over-heater of steam uses gas as fuel and the tower body of refractory bricks can reliably provide overheat steam at 450-500 deg. C. Its advantages are saving steel, energy and activated carbon, and recovering high-quality sulfur. | |||
