Abstract:
     For the sake of economy and ecology, residues containing heavy metals in chemical industry are treated to recover the valuable metals and eleminate environmental pollution. The residues are first fed into the primary reaction zone which in a cylinder-type gasifier with at one carbon containing material packing bed, slagging material and furnace charges and/or packing bed forming material are introduced all together in order to absorb and fix the heavy metals. The temperature in the lower zone of fix bed is kept above the meeting point of slags and ashes, and riscosity of slags should be less than 100 poises.
