Abstract:
     The invention relates to aprocess for producing gas from carbon-containing fuels by gasifying them with one or more gasification agents by means of the fluidised bed and flue dust gasification, wherein the separated flue dust is blown into the reactor with the aid of a conveying medium, centrally or in severla places arranged at about the same height of the reactor just above or just underneath the suface of the fluidised bed, by way of one or wore cooled lances one or more gasification agent sin the quantity required for the gasification of the returned flue dust are introduced centrally through the reactor middle up to the levle of the blowing-in points, and the returned flue dust is converted at temperatures which lie xlose to the ash softening point, a material and heat exchange taking place between the flue dust gasification zone and the fluidised bed gasification zone.
