Abstract:
    The present invention provides a method and apparatus of gaseous fuel in order to manufacture a gas containing chiefly H2 CO whose content of H2O CO2 is lower than 10% and whose hydrogen content can be raised above that which corresponds to the composition of the fuel. An oxidising agent and a fuel are injected into a reaction chamber 2 while external energy is supplied by at least one plasma generator 5. A reactive carbon carrier is injected into the gaseous mixture via injectors 15, 16, 17 in order to carburise H2O and CO2 and the mixture then resides sufficiently long for the carburisation to take place until the desired residual value of H2O and CO2.
