Abstract:
     This invention provides an apparatus as well as a method to drain off slag-water slurry from pressurized solid fuel gasification reactor. The unit consists of at least one pressurized slag crusher connected with the exhaust outlet of the reactor, and a series of throttling elements in the conduct pipes. The conduct pipes are connected with the exhaust outlet of slag crusher. The slurry exhausted from crusher is mixed with water which is in a controlled speed of flow so as to cool the slurry and control its flowing speed in the pipes.
