Abstract:
     This invention belongs to a method for producing city gas and the equipment to carry out this object.The outstanding characteristic of this invention is to accomplish directly the whole process in one equipment. Carbon containing raw material mixing with catalyst and desulfurizer is fed into the reactor undergoing complete gasification, desulfonization, conversion of carbon monoxide and methanation, and city gas is directly obtained at the end. The equipment includes rotary kiln, temperature control system, sealing device, steam generator and the methanation zone in which temperature regulator and catalytic methanation device should be involved. In production of city gas by this invention any kind of coal and any scale of production (large or small) may be applied. Production cost can be reduced 15-35%.
