Abstract:
It is better that the waste residue (red residue) resulted in the preparation of sulphuric acid from iron sulfide ore is mixed with coal powder, being made into briquets and then feeded to the gas producer, this makes the distribution of Fe2O3 more uniform relatively, and is advantageous to the reaction. In order to ensure the fixed carbon content not less than 42%, the Fe2O3 content in the waste residue should not less than 40%, the sulphur content should not more than 5%. briquets made by mixing residue containing 45% of Fe2O3 with coal powder are used, the blowing ratio can be reduced by 3% or so than that for briquets without waste residue, and the comprehensive utilization of coal residue is not influenced. It is widely suitable to nitrogenous fertilizer industries.
