Abstract:
     The method for production of calcium carbide with powdered carbon and calcium lime features that part of calcium lime is uniformly spread in reactor and the uniform mixture of rest calcium lime and powdered carbon is then put in it. Its advantages include breaking the limitation that powdered carbon can not be used to produce calcium carbide.
