Abstract:
     Coal powder, additives,and water have been admixed to form a concentrated water-coal slurry which can be used to heat industrial boilers and kilns and is capable of being conveyed through long distances. A part of coal is dry pulverized to minus 40 mesh. Another part of coal is wet milled to minus 200 mesh. These wet and dry coal powders are mixed together, when additives are added to the mixture at a definite stage of the mixing, a thick water-coal slurry containing higher than 65% coal is obtained.
