Abstract:
     Adhesives for shaped coal is made of paper-making waste lye, humic acid, carbolic acid slag, furfural mud, or formaldehyde as the raw material. The shaped coal with said adhesives has higher strength, compressive strength of which may attain 80-100 kg/single ball;better water-proof, while immersed in 40 deg.C warm water continuously for 168 hrs without disintegration or deformation. The production cost is low, while said shaped coal can withstand outdoor storage or long distance transportation. Said shaped coal can be used in both the industrial and civil furnaces as fuel. Amount of the adhesives added is 10%. Resource of the raw material is wide. Moreover, said adhesives may be made from wastes.
