| An artificial coal comprises soil, silt and clay as main constituents in admixture with some powdered plant material (such as powdered remains of plant, the husks of crops, the cakes of oil-bearing crops after extraction of oil, the distiller's grains, and the bagasse of sugar cane and beet) and powders of animal bodies (such as the remains of insects, mollusks and small reptiles). To this inixture some oxidation additives such as potassium nitrate, borneol, the rhizome of Chinese atractylodes and dolomite are added, some coal may be added, or may be not. They are thoroughly mixed with suitable amount of water to make the solid fuel. The advantage of this artificial coal has the advantages of: abundance of raw materials, simplicity of production, low cost, easy ignition, high flame temp. and long duration of combustion. | |||
