Abstract:
     This catalyst used for hydrogenation of alkenes in petroleum products contains 0.2-1 wt% (based on carrier) Pt or Pd or Pd and Pt, and 0.05~2 wt% (based on carrier) Sn or Pb supported on fibrous Al203. The specific surface of the carrier is 20~150 cm2/g,and the pore volume is 0.1~0.3 ml/g. Compare this catalyst with the similar catalyst used for olefine hydrogenation of reformed stock:the liquid space velocity is 1-2 order of magnitude higher, the selectivity is near 100%, the loss of aromatic hydrocarbons is less than 0.5%. Under reaction temperature 200 deg.C, pressure 20 kg/cm2, the volume ratio of hydrogen to oil 500, and liquid space velocity 20 ml/g.h,the Br number is still less than 0.19 Br/100 g oil after cumulative time of feeding oil reaches 5000 hours.
