| This method is characterized by extracting sour crude oil with 95% sulphuric acid, removal of sulphur may reach 95%. The unsaturated sulphur compound extracted can be polymerized under atmospheric presure at 98-110 deg.C to form a solid polymer of petroleum sulfur compound. Using this polymer as extraction agent, ions of noble metals, like gold and platinium, may be extracted selectively and quantitatively from the aqueous phase. | |||
