Abstract:
     This is a technology of a fixed bed liquid phase catalytic selective hydrogenation to remove alkynes and dialkenes from mono-alkenes. Single stage adiabatic trickle bed is adopted as a reactor and a catalyst of Pd on alpha-Al2O3 carrier is used. The carrier contains 5-35 wt%.B-Al2O3.3H2O. The intet temperature of the reactor is 0~5 Deg.C and the outlet temperature is less than 60 Deg.C. Pressure is about 14-35 kg.f/(cm)2. The molar ratio of hydrogen to impurity is 1.0 to 1.0-2.5. Space rate of volume flow of liquid phase is 50-70 (hr)-1. Average pore radius of catalyst is 200-2,000 A, specific surface area of active Pd is 20-200 m2/g. After hydrogenating the contents of both alkynes and dialkenes are less than 5%.
