Abstract:
     This coal-melting asphalt is made of asphalt, coal powder, assistant which is one selected from a group consisting of naphthalene oil, anthracene oil and coal tar, and catalyst is one selected from a group consisting of AlCl3, ZnCl2, FeCl3 and NaOH. Its technological steps include heating asphalt till it is molten, adding coal powder, assistant and catalyst in it at ordinary temp, and mixing the mixture at 250-420 deg. C for 1-5 hours. The physicochemical characteristics of petroleum asphalt and coal asphalt may be improved as a certain quantity of coal powder is added to the asphalt.
