Abstract:
     A mixing catalytic oxidation method is used, in which high-wax residual oil (wax content up to 40%) is mixed with low-wax asphalt, and the mixture takes part in catalytic oxidation reaction by use of sulfonate or carbonate as catalyst to prepare quality asphalt. The said method features simple process and no generation of harmful matter.
