     A gradually heating, emulsion and crystallization process for preparing refined acenaphthene features use of water as continuous phase and includes such steps as emulsifying coarse acenaphthene under the action of special emulsifier and water by heating and stirring, cooling, separation, washing and drying. Its advantages include simple process, high purity increased from 79% to 99%, use of water instead of organic solvent, low cost, and high output rate.
